Updated over a week ago

NOTE: Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn are the social media accounts that can be set up for auto-posting content. Clickable icons will appear at the bottom of your content for Google My Business, Yelp, and Nextdoor if you enter the links for them, in addition to icons for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

1. Login to your Practice Panda account at https://portal.practicepanda.com

2. Click on "Social Management" near the bottom in the middle of the page

3. Here, you can click on "Connect Your Page" to connect the social media accounts that you have. The social media app you are connecting with will have you login to your profile and then ask you to follow the prompts about what you would like to connect.

IMPORTANT: For Facebook, you will login with your personal account and then it will pull any business pages you admin and you can select them to link them to Practice Panda.

You MUST have a Facebook Business page managed by a personal Facebook account in order to connect your Practice Panda account to Facebook.

Facebook business page not listed under your personal FB account?

If you're not seeing your business page listed to connect Practice Panda to, then you will need to contact Facebook to ensure you have all the necessary permissions on your personal account to administrate the business page.

NOTE: Practice Panda is unable to assist with assigning the necessary permissions to your personal Facebook account. You must contact facebook support if you're not seeing your business page listed.

You can email Facebook support at support@fb.com.

Important Information Regarding Facebook

Facebook does not allow autoposting to personal accounts as of August 2018 and limited autoposting to business pages only for all marketing material. If you want to share content on your personal account, we recommend sharing a link to the webpage the content is on (for example, if you wanted to share your newsletter, you would share the link to the page on your website that has the newsletter).

You can also share the microsite link if you do not have the content on your website.

4. Once your social media accounts are connected, you will see the connected account(s) listed with a green checkmark next to the respective social media icon.

Add your online business listings

5. Next, scroll down and if you have Google My Business, Yelp, or Nextdoor. Here, you can enter your links (for Yelp and Nextdoor) or your company name on Google my Business (for Google My Business).

(1.) Type your business name as it appears on Google Business

(2.) Copy/Paste the public link to your Yelp page

(3.) Copy/Paste the public link to your Nextdoor page

(4.) Click "Save changes" when you are finished

6. After you click "Save changes" on step 5.4, you will get a message saying that your social networking links have been updated.

Now that your social media is connected, you can set up content to automatically send to your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn accounts.
